My 6 year old son, Griffin, was diagnosed with autism when he was 2. He wasn't meeting his milestones, and I had a gut feeling that something wasn't right. A developmental pediatrician diagnosed him, and we immediately started early intervention.
Griffin has come such a long way these past few years, and I couldn't be prouder of him. A couple of months ago, I wrote to Autism Radio with my story, and they were kind enough to send Griffin a new iPad to further his development. My family is very thankful to Autism Radio for gifting us with one such an amazing tool that will be able to greatly help Griffin. I think it's wonderful that there are organizations out there that truly want to help families. I know the feeling of not knowing where to turn or who to go to for help.
When I spoke to Paul from Autism Radio, it was clear that he truly cares about the families that he's able to help. Many thanks from our family.
