Our kids James and Isabella absolutely love pool therapy as much as we love how it benefits them physically, mentally, and emotionally. Autism radio’s more than generous grant allowed both James and Isabella to benefit tremendously from time in the water with a professional instructor at Good Shepherd rehab. Isabella’s vocabulary even has increased as she always asks for the swimming pool. It also has helped James with being patient while he waits for his sister’s lesson to finish up before it’s his turn in the pool.

Thank you Autism Radio! A grant from this amazing organization paid for therapeutic riding lessons with Equine Tranquility Wellness Center for our son, Sean. Every family dealing with autism knows how hard it can be to provide all the therapies our kids need. Although Sean benefits immensely from therapeutic riding, we cannot always afford it. Sean has made progress cognitively, with his sensory and motor skills, with his coordination, balance, and posture ... all because of this therapy. And, by the 3rd session, it was incredible to watch Sean independently guide his horse, Licorice, too!!
