Autism Radio Partners with Stella Therapy Riding to Host a Therapeutic Riding Open House and Showcase

May 5 Event to Promote Therapeutic Riding to Children and Families in Northern New
Jersey

NJ – April 23, 2012 - Autism Radio Network today announced that they will partner
with Stella Therapy Riding, a NJ Non-Profit Corporation, to host an event promoting the
benefits of therapeutic riding.

The event will take place at the North Jersey Equestrian Center (1 Carlson Place in
Pompton Plains, New Jersey) on May 5 at 6:30 p.m. It will feature remarks from both
Paul Cimins founder of Autism Radio Network and Lisa Gephardt, President and
Founder of Stella Therapy Riding. Stella Therapy Riding students will also showcase
their equestrian skills, which will evaluated by a panel of judges.

“I believe that therapeutic riding can be very helpful to many children and adults on
the autism spectrum,” commented Paul Cimins, President and Founder, Autism Radio.
“After meeting with Lisa and learning more about her program, I felt that this event
would be a great way to introduce therapeutic riding to people who may not be familiar
with it.”

“We at Stella Riding are thrilled to be working with Paul and Autism Radio,” commented
Lisa Gephardt. “He is doing amazing work bringing his show, Hope Saves the Day, to
families around the country, and we are grateful to have the opportunity to expose more
people to the positive effects of therapeutic riding.”

The benefits of therapeutic riding have been recognized for many years. It is a proven
method of increasing the physical, mental, emotional and developmental capabilities for
individuals with disabilities, functional limitations or medical issues. There is a healing
interaction between horses, riders and the people who help them.

Families interested in learning more about therapeutic riding, as well as people who may
be interested in volunteering to assist the riding program, are invited to attend this very
special evening. The event is free, and light refreshments will be served.
