Colleen O'Dea, Project Director -

Ms. O'Dea is the Executive Director of Equine Tranquility Wellness Center (ETWC) in Andover, NJ. To the team, she brings a long history of management and a corporate sales experience. Prior to starting ETWC in 2010, she worked for the automotive industry for 15 years. At ETWC she applies combined skills in training, management, business development, marketing, and relationship building to provide a strong foundation for ETWC and its community partners.

After leaving corporate sales, Ms. O'Dea, passionate about rescuing horses, attended an eight-week, intensive therapeutic instructor certification course in Connecticut. She returned to New Jersey confident that starting ETWC was what she wanted to do going forward. In May of 2010, she established ETWC with two rescue horses. Eager to grow her knowledge in horsemanship, she took equine courses at Rutgers University. In August 2010, she furthered her teaching education and knowledge and earned her certification as a Centered Riding Instructor. She also joined the American Riding Instructors Association (ARIA). Today, she continues to be an industry leader, learning through clinics and seminars annually. In 2014, she is advancing her education to become a United States Dressage Federation (USDF)-certified USDF instructor. Because of Ms. O'Dea's desire to continuing learn and grow, ETWC, and Autism Radio as its partner, is poised to grow and provide innovations to meet the needs of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
