Children on the autism spectrum don't have to miss out on summer fun this year. The New Behavioral Network Autism Program is hosting a summer camp for autistic kids between the ages of 10 and 15.
The camp lasts for seven weeks beginning July 12. Half days are from 9 a.m. to noon and cost $375 per week. Full days are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and cost $750 per week.
Kids will take part in hands-on activities that help build their scheduling skills and transitional skills. They'll also have opportunities to build their self-esteem and make new friends.
The camp meets at Westfield Friends School, located at 2201 Riverton Road in Cinnaminson, NJ. For more information, call (856) 874-1616 or visit www.nbnautismprogram.com.
